Hanson, armed with megaphones and hundreds of fans have a message to get across, and that message is “BARREL ROLL!”. This was shot in front Sonar in Baltimore, Maryland on September 15th. That’s not the only message they had to get across, this was shot just before Hanson and their fans went for a barefoot mile walk to bring awareness to those who are in need of a pair of shoes. You can check out http://www.tomsshoes.com to support a good cause. For every pair of shoes sold, a pair is given to a child in need in Africa.
You can see actual video from the walk here or read more about the cause here.
As Tom mentioned in his blog, he stopped by Andy Dick’s Shit Show Live on Sirius 101 friday night. If you haven’t seen it already, we suggest you check out the footage he posted from the show. We don’t know about you, but it left The Guide itching for more so after a little digging around the internet, we managed to find the entire show, 48 minutes in length. If you want to take it on the road, you can download it in MP3 format using this link, or you can listen to it below.
I recently caught up with Neil Hamburger at the Knitting Factory in New York with deputy Max Miller. Neil was on top of his game that night, hair perfectly greased with New Wave Hard Rock Gel and vodka, 4 drinks in hand and a tuxedo straight from the rack of the local goodwill shop. After the show we managed to conduct a 2-question interview before, in such a way only Neil could get away with, we got peanuts thrown at us and were kicked out of the horribly lit, urine soaked dressing room. Watch as Neil gives his thoughts on the New York crowd, Britney Spears’ upcoming (now past) performance on the Video Music Awards, and Kevin Federline.
